Microsoft's Surface Earbuds

The premium true wireless earbuds from Microsoft joined its noise-canceling family on Wednesday, as they unveil the Surface Earbuds which is a direct competitor of Apple's AirPods (obviously).

The Surface Earbuds are built for both music and vocal performance. It features an ultra-comfortable and secure design with intuitive touch and voice controls for music, calls and more as claimed by the company.

The earbuds claim up to 24 hours of battery life, with eight hours continuous playback on a charge, and the carry case contains two full refills. A 10-minute charge provides up to one hour of battery life As with most other wireless headphones, they support tap and swipe gesture input providing seamless access to some apps like Outlook calendar, email while elevating the powerpoint experience.

Surface Earbuds are compatible with Windows 10, Android 4.4, iPhone 5, iOS9, Bluetooth 4.1/4.2. Also, it comes with a waterproof rating of IPX4. One-year limited hardware warranty is claimed by the company.

Slated to go on sale later this year, the Surface Earbuds will be priced at $249 (roughly Rs. 17,700).
